MMA legend BJ Penn doesn’t believe in dinosaurs

Former two-division UFC champion BJ Penn continues his tailspin towards insanity as the Hall of Famer voiced his opinion about the existence of dinosaurs.

As sad (and humorous) as it is, Penn believes dinosaurs are part of a global conspiracy. Oh, and the world will end in 2050 (But don’t worry, we’ll only start over in 1850).

“These guys [the government] lie the whole f*ckin time! Same with us Hawaiians! Just the same as f*ckin fake as dinosaurs, Neanderthal man, and aliens are! Evolution is even worse, because those evolutionist liars need the native Hawaiians to make their fake evolution for humans. F*ckin liars.”

This is sadly the new normal when it comes to Penn in his post-MMA career. The BJJ black belt made headlines earlier this year claiming that CTE–a condition that many fighters suffer after a long, punishing career–is as “fake as the coronavirus.”

BJ Penn is clearly not well

Penn ended his career on a 1-9-1 stretch. He would be released in September 2019 following his seventh straight loss and after footage of him being knocked out in a bar fight went viral.

He’s had multiple DUIs and plenty of alcohol-related issues that have got him in trouble. Most recently, Penn ran in the 2022 Hawaiin gubernatorial elections as a Republican. After losing in the primaries, Penn challenged the results with the state’s Supreme Court to no avail.

It’s clear he is not well. Here’s to hoping Penn can find some help during this troubling phase of his life.
